McKellar

Discover McKellar, a charming township set within an easy drive to Parry Sound and less than 2.5 hours from the GTA. With a population of about 1,100, McKellar is named after Archibald McKellar, a historic member of the legislative assemblies for the Province of Ontario. This municipality is spotted with rural homes throughout and is home to three charming communities, including the primary community of McKellar as well as Broadbent, and Hurdville ~ each named after notable locals that became figures in Canadian history. McKellar is a great cottage environment, home to numerous stunning lakes including Manitouwabing, McKellar and Grey Owl Lake and home of the stunning Ridge at Manitou golf course.
